Daniel Richard Shupp and Amber Nicole Love have announced their plans to wed in the fall.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dawn Fugitt of Oakdale and Mike Love of Idaho. She has one sister, Ashley Love. She is an Oakdale High School graduate and attends Las Positas College. She works at West America Bank.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Lynn Shupp of Oakdale and Don Shupp of Washington State. He has one brother, Donnie Shupp and one sister, Lori Pugh.

He is an Oakdale High School and Stanislaus State graduate and works for Western Pacific Signal in the Bay Area.

The engagement was announced at a party at the home of Mel and Kim Halfmoon in Oakdale and the couple is planning a Sept. 15, 2012 wedding at the home of Bob and Ruby Evans in Oakdale.
