Christian Salumbides Bowers and Heidy Roxanne Rissetto have announced their plans to unite as husband and wife.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Abby and Corinne Rissetto and Tom and Ellyn Fox. She is a graduate of Livermore High School and a graduate of Sacramento State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. She is currently employed as an administrative assistant at Bank of America. Her siblings are Rocky, Holly, Nikky, Katy and Jenny Rissetto and Sam Fox.

The prospective groom is the son of Verne and Jerry Bowers. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Alameda. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He is currently employed as a mortgage loan officer at Bank of America.

The couple announced their engagement in September of 2008, following a vacation to Las Vegas and a cruise to Mexico. They plan to wed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakdale and host their reception at the Reata.
