A boy, Nicholas Owen Simko was born June 8, 2011 to expectant parents Ian Simko and Audrey Flanagan of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, four ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Dennis and Teresa Flanagan of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
Nick and Nancy Simko of Escalon are the paternal grandparents.
