A daughter, Miranda E. Medina, was born Jan. 31, 2011 to expectant parents Adolfo and Rocio Medina of Riverbank. The newborn weighed eight pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Rocio Perez.

Welcoming their baby sister home were older siblings Cynthia, Marco and Adolfo.

Pedro and Margarita Perez of Mexico are the maternal grandparents.

Arnulfo and Ninfa Medina of Mexico are the paternal grandparents.
