A boy, Collin Lawrence Lyman, was born February 12, 2010 to expectant parents Donald and Brenda Lyman of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, seven ounces upon arrival at Doctors Hospital. The mother is the former Brenda Maycroft.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Katie and Joey Lyman.

Randy Maycroft of Oakdale and Paula Asbra of Boise, Idaho are the maternal grandparents.

The late Lawrence and Isabel Lyman are the paternal grandparents.
