Norman and Wanda Cox will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 21, 2013. The couple, who were introduced through mutual friends, were married in Dallas, Texas in 1963.

Norman was a real estate broker for 35 years in Oakdale and Wanda was a beautician who owned Wanda’s Clip Joint. They have lived in Elk Grove for the past two years.

The couple has three children, Norman Wesley Cox of Oakdale, Delia Cox Wilson of Austin, Texas, and Corena Cox Marquardt of Ardmore, Oklahoma. They also have nine grandchildren.
