Business was brisk this past Saturday, as Infinite Athletics hosted its second annual crab feed fundraiser event where 375 tickets were sold and 100 percent of the proceeds went to their cheer and dance gym.
This year looked a little different for the anticipated event; it was originally supposed to be held at the Gene Bianchi Community Center. Due to COVID-19, however, the crab feed fundraiser was held drive-thru style at the gym’s location. Tickets were $55 while Seafood Express packaged up all of the meals that consisted of marinated crab, pasta, salad, bread and dessert.
Infinite Athletics celebrates four years in business locally this summer. Infinite Athletics is an award winning gym that aims to promote a lifelong enjoyment of cheerleading and dance while emphasizing a positive athlete experience and instilling the core values of discipline, teamwork, safety, respect and integrity.
Owner of Infinite Athletics, Ashley Dillon, mentioned that the gym is home to hundreds of athletes from across the Central Valley including athletes that come from as far away as Sacramento and Galt. Within two years of being open, Infinite Athletics quickly grew out of their first location. The popular cheer and dance gym relocated to a larger location to accommodate their high volume of athletes.
Infinite Athletics is always accepting new athletes and is at 628 Delano Drive, Oakdale, and can be reached at (209) 844-5616.
