FAMILY TRADITION
Deer pix 1-16-19.png

Fourteen-year-old Damien Walker is shown with his father, Billy Walker, of Oakdale with the first buck of his hunting career taken by Damien while hunting in Montana. The trip had been in the planning stages for two years; dad Billy also got a deer on the trip. Grandfather Wayne Warren noted that Damien’s mother, Tamera Walker – who is Warren’s daughter – killed her first and only deer at the same age as her son, 14, while hunting with Warren in Montana. It was the “trip of a lifetime,” Warren said, with the three generations hunting together. Accompanying them on the trip was Greg Clinkenbeard of Waterford.
