Robert “Bob” Casaus, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019 at his home in Escalon, California surrounded by his loving family. Bob is survived by his wife, Janet Casaus, brother Joe Casaus, daughter Berna Browning, son Robert Casaus Jr., daughter Patty Casaus, and his grandchildren Stacy Casaus-Sandoval, J.R. McCarty, Brandon Casaus, Tracy King, Jason Casaus, Michael Mylar, Shannon Casaus-Soto, Josh Macias, Jimmy Mylar, Justin Mylar and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his late wife Ella, daughter Janie Macias and granddaughter Chrissy Casaus.

Bob was blessed with a long life and lived to be 89. He was born on November 30, 1929 in Jemez Springs, New Mexico where he lived until his ninth year when he moved to Oakdale, California where he raised his family.

He worked as a truck driver for Oakdale Concrete for many years and made lots of friends in the Oakdale area where he was well known. Bob was well loved by his family and friends and had a warm and welcoming smile. He will be missed. A celebration of life gathering is planned for the Spring.
