Mike Damigo preferred not to be called by his given name or to have his name mentioned on Facebook. But his name was called by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 9, 2020, and he left his earthly home for his Heavenly mansion. He had suffered from Lewy Body Dementia and Myelofibrosis for several years, and though his family will miss him, they are grateful that he is no longer suffering.
Michael Christopher Damigo was born in Placerville, CA on October 11, 1959. He moved frequently as a child, with residences in California, Colorado and South Carolina. He attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC; served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps in Columbia, SC and at Camp Pendleton, CA; and worked for 25 years for Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office before his retirement in Oakdale, CA. He is preceded in death by his father Angelo. He is survived by his wife Charilyn; daughters Tiffany and Natalie; sons Joshua, Nathan, and Tice; grandchildren Autumn, Louden, Lincoln, Taylor, Savannah, and Liviana; his sisters Suzanne and Kathleen; and his mother Shirley. He will be missed by many others.

He will be remembered at a memorial service on Saturday, February 22 at the Gladys Lemmons Senior Community Center at 450 East A Street, Oakdale, CA at noon. Everyone is welcome to attend. Memorial Donations may be made to www.winecountrymarines.org.
