Doris Ella Driver-Ohe, 83, died peacefully on Friday, May 31 in her home surrounded by family.
She was born in Modesto to Lawrence and Dessa Driver. After graduating from Modesto High School in 1947, she was employed with Wells Fargo Bank.
She married Karl Ohe of Oakdale in 1957 with whom she had three children.
Mrs. Ohe was devoted to her family, who she cared for deeply.
Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, and taking care of others. She was a long-time member of her Sorority Beta Sigma Phi. She continuously had a smile on her face and something sweet to say on any occasion.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Snow, Lisa (Paul) Bliven; son, Michael (Jonna) Ohe; sister, Alta Driver-Stinnett; brother, Curtis Driver; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years; her parents; and sister, Anna Driver-Blomdahl.
A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday June 7 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 W. F St., Oakdale. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 at Community United Methodist Church, 1480 Poplar Ave., Oakdale. A private burial will be held at Knights Ferry Cemetery, and a celebration of life will follow (to be announced).
