SAFETY FIRST
823 safety

Friday afternoon, Aug. 18 featured a Car Seat Safety Check, hosted at Oakdale Bike Shop. Safety was front and center for local families, as nationally certified car seat technicians and volunteers with Safe Kids Stanislaus made 19 children safer in their vehicles by educating 13 caregivers on child passenger safety, replacing 12 car seats and one booster. The Doctors Medical Center “Quad Squad” even made a stop at the car seat check. Brothers Andrew, Julian, Samuel and Robert were born at Doctors Medical Center on Dec. 31, 2020. The family received four new car seats from Safe Kids Stanislaus at the event, as the quadruplets were ready to transition to convertible car seats. Here, technicians on site Friday afternoon perform an inspection.
