Deputies Search For Suspects In Waterford Shooting

Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Waterford Police Services are investigating a shooting that happened Monday, March 5  at 5:55 p.m. in the 500 block of F Street in Waterford. Deputies responded to a male who had been shot, when they arrived they found a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his upper body and one to his lower body. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The male had been standing in his front yard when a black hatch back and silver four-door car drove by and fired multiple rounds at the male striking him two times. At this point in the investigation it appears to be a gang related shooting.
