Crime Scene Investigator Killed In Hughson

Sheriff Adam Christianson announced Friday morning, Dec. 30 that the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office lost a crime scene investigator while she was investigating an active crime scene in Hughson.

Crime Scene Investigator Mary Donahou was assisting a deputy when she was struck by a vehicle on Santa Fe Avenue south of Whitmore Avenue at about 6:30 a.m. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident but additional details are not available at this time. Donahou had been with the Sheriff’s Office for nine years and leaves behind a 12-year-old son.
