Bloomingcamp Ranch will host its Annual Harvest Festival this weekend, with activities scheduled on both Saturday Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27. The two-day celebration honoring California’s family farming traditions through connection with food, agriculture and community will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Located on the east end of Oakdale, the 10528 State Highway 120 rural setting is both ideal and most fitting for a day of family fun to celebrate the arrival of the Fall Harvest. A number of activities including hayrides, a petting zoo, agriculture education, music and kids activities will all be available for visitors.
Throughout the weekend, families can participate in hands-on activities in the Kids Art Patch, Story Tent and farm exhibits by Sierra 4-H Club and Mid Valley Cowbelles. The festival will include a pumpkin patch, pie eating contest, vendors displaying and selling wares in a craft faire and displays of classics in a car show.
Admission to the Harvest Festival is free and it will be hosted rain or shine. For additional information, visit www.bloomingcampranch.com or call 847-7437.
