Oakdale police

As part of ongoing pro-active enforcement, the Oakdale Police Department, between July 9 and July 13, conducted compliance checks of the registered sex offenders living in the city.

According to Police Sergeant Joe Johnson the department conducts the checks to determine if registrants are in compliance with their annual registration requirement and to confirm they are living at the address at which they are registered.

During the week, officers checked on 20 registered sex offenders in Oakdale.

“We treat registered sex offenders similar to probationers or parolees,” Johnson said. “They have certain requirements to comply with under the law and we have an obligation to see to it they comply with those requirements.”

The department arrested two persons as a result of being out of compliance with their registration requirements.

Dolan Crystal Frost, age 42 of Oakdale and Arthur Leon Webb, age 63 of Oakdale were booked for violating registration requirements.

According to Johnson, neither Frost nor Webb is listed on the Megan's Law website because they are excluded from public disclosure. Both were living at the address where they last registered.
