Festival Of Trees Slated At Micke Grove Park

San Joaquin Historical Society and Museum Docent Council present the 28th annual Festival of Trees on Dec. 7 and 8.

There will be a ‘Senior Preview’ on Dec. 6.

The Festival of Trees is staged each year at Micke Grove Regional Park, 11793 N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi. Tickets are now available at the county’s Historical Museum adjacent to the park and at The Music Box in Lodi or the Music Go Round in Stockton. They can also be purchased from museum docents.

Admission is $12 for adults, $2 for children ages 2 to 12. The festival includes a variety of decorated Christmas trees, pioneer crafts for kids, entertainment, train and tractor wagon rides, dessert included with paid admission and visits with Santa Claus.

The special preview for senior citizens runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Regular festival hours are Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
