Oakdale netters topped Weston Ranch in action on Sept. 26, hosting their Valley Oak League counterpart.

The final was 7-2 in Oakdale’s favor.

Christine Winders defeated Delarine Barut 6-4 7-5 while Kalkidan Curtis lost to Danica Ramos 3-6 3-6. Sabrina Richardson defeated Kazoua Vang 7-6 6-2; Danielle Conway defeated Preet Kaur 6-3 6-4; Alyssa Perigen defeated Yesenia Reynoso 6-2, 6-3 and Rachelle Pabalan defeated Melissa Outama 6-1 6-4.

In doubles play, Katie Schultz and Cori Barney defeated Christine Novoa and Amy Vang 6-0 6-2 while Lilly Fabry and Danielle Albertoni lost to Kim Vallandens and Jasman Sambhi 2-6 1-6.

Carley Newbill and Jessica Stevenson defeated Brittany Olitan and Jennifer Conteras 6-4, 6-3 to close out the contest.

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the girls cruised to a shutout 9-0 win over rival Sonora.

Christine Winders defeated Alania Brosman 6-0 6-0; Kalkidan Curtis defeated Hannah Smith 6-3 6-2; it was a win for Sabrina Richardson, defeating Victoria Green 6-1 6-2; Danielle Conway defeated Marcie Hanson 6-1 6-0. Also, Alyssa Perigen defeated Sabrina Skiba 6-0 6-1; Rachelle Pabalan defeated Sarah Cormics 6-1 6-0.

The doubles teams were all victorious as well. Katie Schultz and Cori Barney defeated Brooke Scherb and Chloe Plummer 6-1 6-3; Lilly Fabry and Jessica Stevenson defeated Nina Smith and Brandi Kleier 6-0 6-0; Quinn Gagos and Carley Newbill defeated Hannah Maglino and Jasmine Phillips, 6-0 6-1.
