Carolyn Powell passed away peacefully on November 24, 2015 at the age of 73. Carolyn was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on April 28, 1942 to Cecil and Mary Evelyn Moses. She was an Escalon resident for 16 years.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter Kathy (Frank) Rocha of Escalon, CA and her son Donny Joe Powell of Denver, CO. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and her sister Charlene (Preston) Benge of Yanush, OK. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Evelyn Moses and her brother Floyd Moses.
A visitation was held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
