Delicious food in Valley Home! This Saturday, January 30th the delightful ladies of St John’s/St Luke’s church will once again be selling their delicious homemade enchiladas. The church ladies take great pride in turning out their special tasty enchiladas. All funds benefit the church. You may place your orders with choice of red or green sauce by calling Judy at 847-6647. The enchiladas sell for $15.00 for 1/2 dozen. With Super Bowl right around the corner, why not freeze a couple of dozen for the big game? What a delicious treat for all!

We offer a huge thank you to our County Supervisor, Mr. Bill O’Brien. While in Valley Home last week, citizens asked Supervisor O’Brien to look into more lighting as you exit Highway 120 onto Valley Home Road. The citizen shared that living here for 55 years, it was definitely something that needed attention. Supervisor O’Brien said he would look into it immediately. Another citizen asked Supervisor O’Brien to talk with public works about a portion of Valley Home Road that had been badly flooded and now had a huge piece of asphalt missing, very dangerous driving through that area. Supervisor O’Brien had the road repaired the very next day! Our thanks for your immediate concern, Supervisor O’Brien!
