Valley Home Parent Teacher Club met last week and worked on their plans for a Spring dinner dance fundraiser. Date, location and time will be announced very soon. It is sure to be great fun! Also on the agenda was the upcoming Ag and Career Day to be held in March. This fun learning day will allow the students to visit several hands on stations and even get their hands dirty in an actual garden ... what fun and what a great way to learn!

Exciting news ... later this month students and parents will be able to access attendance and grade information online! We are all looking forward to this. The program is called “Power School” and it will be accessible from the school’s website.

The Valley Home School Board will meet this Tuesday. Today, January 13th will be a minimum day for students. On Monday, January 18th, students are out of school to celebrate Martin Luther King Day. On January 28th our 8th graders will get their first high school orientation. Hard to believe we are already in the second half of the school year. Good luck to our 8th graders ... enjoy your orientation to high school, and really enjoy these last few months at Valley Home!
