Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, Aug. 6th! We will celebrate “National Night Out” together at our Valley Home Community Park. National Night Out is celebrated across the nation on the first Tuesday in August every year. Law enforcement encourages neighbors, friends and family to come outside, get to know your neighbors and “take a bite out of crime.” The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. Please bring a favorite dish to share and come enjoy a very special evening. We are looking forward to a visit from our Stanislaus County Sheriffs, our Fire Department, and the CHP. We are anticipating a flyover from the Sheriff’s helicopter. It will be a wonderful evening!  Water, soda, and tiki lagoon drinks will be provided. Hawaiian sunset, blue Hawaii, sunrise surprise and other fun drinks (non-alcoholic) for your pleasure! We are hoping to have a very special speaker come share stories of Valley Home. We hope you all will come out and enjoy this special night in Valley Home. Plates, plastic ware and napkins will also be provided. Hope to see you there!

Our Stanislaus County Fair has come to an end. So many happy stories. Our 4-Hers and FFA students were magnificent showing their animals and entering other projects. Congratulations to all of you! We would also like to congratulate Valley Home resident Marina Knudsen on her third place win in the Floral Arrangement competition at the fair. Marina loves to create arrangements and would like to encourage our youth in Valley Home to enter next year. Congratulations to all who entered and enjoyed this year’s fair!
