A peaceful paradise ... this past weekend our Valley Home School dinner fundraiser was held at the beautiful Borges Park. The park itself is the inspiration of Elsie and the late Augie Martin. Located on Henry Road in Farmington, the park is just a couple minutes’ drive from Valley Home. Elsie and Augie’s inspiration has allowed many, many groups to raise thousands of dollars to benefit their causes. Augie Martin was a humble, hard-working man, whose faith and family meant everything to him. During even the most spirited of gatherings, guests feel the peacefulness of their surroundings! Flowers, plants and special memories welcome guests as they enter the beautiful “country paradise” and remind us of God’s many blessings. What a lovely place to gather with friends and family. Valley Home School deeply appreciates each and every one of you who helped make this evening so successful. With a very special thank you to Elsie and her beloved husband, the late Augie Martin!
