“Read Across America” was celebrated in Valley Home this past week. With March 2nd being Dr. Seuss’ birthday, our Valley Home students had the chance to celebrate by reading their favorite books. Later that evening many families enjoyed a dinner of bright green eggs and ham. What a fun way to pay tribute to Dr. Seuss!

Last Friday our Valley Home students met in the school gym for their second trimester awards. It was an exciting day for all, with many family members on hand to support students!

March 9th the school will honor students of the month with a luncheon and assembly afterwards.

Friday March 10th our Valley Home Hawks will play Knights Ferry in basketball at Valley Home! Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to come out and support the teams!

Remember daylight savings time begins on March 12th, spring ahead!

Our Valley Home School board will meet on March 14th in the school library at 6 p.m. All are welcome.

Wednesday March 15th will be a minimum day for our Valley Home students. They will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

For those of you that might be willing to share your knowledge with our students, ag day at the school will be held on Thursday April 13th. Please contact Mr. Price at 209-847-0117.

Hope you have already circled April 29th on your calendar! It’s going to be such a fun evening. The annual Spring Fling dinner dance will be held at the beautiful Borges Park in Farmington. More info, 209-847-0117.
