February is a busy month for our high school FFA students. A fabulous trip to the floral market in San Francisco, hands on trip to the poultry show and on Wednesday, February 22, our Oakdale FFA will host their annual cake auction! This exciting event will be held at the Gene Bianchi Center and will start at 6 p.m. All are welcome to come and support our Oakdale FFA! You can bid on a huge array of cakes decorated in every style and flavor you can imagine! Remember the fun starts at 6 p.m. on February 22nd! Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our Valley Home students of the month. Kindergarten Ashlan McCurley, 1st Carlos Astorga-Rodriguez, 2nd Pablo Navarro, 3rd Brynn Black, 4th Tommy Eproson, 5th Derek Silva, 6th Citladi Olvera, 7th Emilee Cozby, and 8th grade Donovan Solis, for the month of December. Great job to each of you on your hard work!

Our students are selling delicious chocolate bars to raise money. More left in the office if you would like to help support our students. Boxes can be checked out through Superintendent Price.

Our Parent Teacher Club will meet in the school library on Thursday, Feb. 23rd at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Basketball season is in full force at Valley Home School. Next game will be at home against Shiloh. Go-o-o-o Hawks!

Our students will enjoy a school holiday on February 13th in honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.

February 14th will be a minimum day with classes celebrating with class parties! Fun, Fun, Fun!
