Fun ... and more fun in Valley Home! At their January community meeting our Valley Home 4-Hers made big plans for the February Box Social. The 4-Hers hold the old-fashioned box social each year to raise much needed funds for club activities. Each 4-Her will be responsible for bringing items to the box social. Items will be auctioned to the highest bidder. Since the event is held on the Tuesday before Valentines Day, it is the perfect opportunity to get gifts for all of your Valentines! This year’s box social will be held on Tuesday, February 7th. We hope you will come support our young people! The 4-Hers always have a wide assortment of delightful items ... homemade berry pies, tasty coconut, banana, and cherry pies ... sweet smelling gifts, red roses, crystal, outdoor gifts ... trees, rose bushes, tools, Round Up ... there really will be something for everyone! More details to come.

The Heaton family just returned from an exciting Canadian adventure! Many of you already know how the Heatons enjoy the game of hockey, with much of their free time spent going to watch the Sharks or Heat play. This year Jenna’s Christmas present was a trip to Vancouver to watch the Canucks play. She had a blast in Canada taking in the beautiful scenery, breathtaking views, and even getting hit ... not hurt ... by a hard hit hockey puck that came flying over the glass. She returned home with the game puck as a very cool souvenir, hugs from ‘Fin,’ and a lifetime of special memories!
