Oakdale High football ... powerful, fast, strong, determined! These are just a few of the words that can be used to describe the 2016 Oakdale High Mustang football team! Although football is just one of the many top rated sports played during the year at Oakdale High, it is the one sport that pretty much the entire town comes out to support. The crowds fill the bleachers to overflowing, the sights and sounds of Oakdale football create a frenzy of high energy. Enthusiastic cheerleaders lead the Oakdale crowd in a rousing rendition of a Mustang cheer, a cheer that can be heard throughout much of the town. Fall means football in this town where old school traditions are still honored and Friday night football is king! For much of Oakdale and the surrounding areas of Valley Home and Knights Ferry football means a change of the seasons and a reason to head to The Corral. Long live Oakdale football!
