We are excited to report that Ceres Fire Chief, Kevin Wise will be participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society stair climb on March 10th in Seattle! He will be joining over 2,000 other firefighters from across the country to climb 69 flights of stairs in full gear to help raise money for the LLS. Chief Wise is a former Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department member. We are very grateful to Kevin for his many visits to Valley Home over the past years!

Please be aware that the bridge over the SSJID Canal on Pleasant Valley Road between Pioneer and Victory Avenue is closed for now. Public Works closed the Pleasant Valley bridge for safety reasons. Detour signs are posted in the area. We are looking forward to having Stanislaus County Public Works staff at our April “MAC” meeting to talk about the closure.
