A summer kids’ event called Cave Quest VBS will be hosted at Oakdale’s Community Christian Reformed Church (CRC) in Oakdale from Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 10. At Cave Quest, kids explore what it means to follow Jesus through dark times. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love, and play teamwork-building games. Plus, kids will be encouraged to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.

Each day concludes with a Cave Quest Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in each evening for this special time, at 8 p.m.

While at Cave Quest VBS, kids will join be invited to join a missions effort to repair homes for families in the United States, as an example of sharing God’s love and living out our faith.

Cave Quest is for kids entering first grade to kids entering seventh grade. The program will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day, with dinner served from 5 p.m. to 5:25 p.m. No charge to attend.
