New Board Tapped For Soroptimists

Soroptimist International of Oakdale’s 2020-2021 President and Board of Directors have been installed for the new club year. Serving as President is Charlotte Metcalfe. Also on the Board are President-Elect Chris Di Cristina, Vice President Pam Benziger, Treasurer Mary Lou Hernandez-Kelley, Recording Secretary Suzette Titus, Corresponding Secretary Christine Foreman, Directors Debbie Carreira and Violet Mondragon, and Delegate Kathy Bauman. Serving as Parliamentarian is Nancy Lilly and serving as Advisor is Jayne Hartley.

In addition, two club members have been honored for outstanding service during the 2019-2020 club year. Chris Di Cristina received the Distinguished Service Award for her leadership and contributions to club projects and Jayne Hartley received the President’s Award from Immediate Past President Jackie Hair.

Soroptimist International of Oakdale is part of a non-profit global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. The club provides annual programs to assist women and girls in the community as well as participates in numerous community service projects.
