U.S. Representative Jeff Denham welcomed the winner of California’s 10th District Congressional Art Competition, Skye Ocaranza, to the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, June 29. Skye’s artwork, “Rampehant,” was selected by a panel of local judges and will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel alongside the winning entries from every congressional district in the United States for the next year, where thousands of visitors will be able to view the entries on their way to the U.S. Capitol. “It’s always an honor to welcome young Central Valley talent to the nation’s capital to see their artwork displayed on a national stage,” said Rep. Denham.
