Natalie Brockman, KFS Band Director, would like to thank all who participated in the cookie dough sale. The band raised over $1800 to pay for their trip to the Gallo Center to see Blue Man Group next Sunday. This performance is by three blue-faced men playing PVC pipes with mallets and they add props and high-definition video boards for a sensory overload. The unused money will help repair instruments and may buy some new ones.

Bill Wearin took some Knights Ferrians on a tour of Tulloch Dam on Sunday. There is a third generator being built to make more power. They got to go inside the dam and to see the generators. Then Bill took them to Goodwin Dam where some walked over the suspension bridge and got some great pictures of the water spilling over the dam. It was a dam good trip!

There was not a parking space in town Saturday as many turned out for the benefit for Ashley Bizzanelli, 22-year-old girlfriend of Alec Mederos, who has T-Cell lymphoma. The food line wrapped around the clubhouse and many silent auction items lined the walls. The Blues Defenders and others played music all day. All had a great time for a good cause.
