The Knights Ferry School students were put into groups to decorate pumpkins. Each group had an assortment of ages. They met one time to decide on what to do to their pumpkin then met Friday to decorate it. While the students were parading down Main Street the pumpkins were judged. Having been a judge before I know how hard that is. The grand winner was a pumpkin that looked like a donut, complete with sprinkles. In the winning group were Luke Dickens, Ryan Verkaik, Carson Sundberg, Julian Arias and Pablo Martinez. Second place went to Haven Tucker, Carter Sturtevant, Gracie Anderson and Tristan Voortman. Third place went to Denali Benson, Alexa Boyajian, Paul Chiara and Chase Dugo.
