The U-pick Blueberry farm is open for business! We are so lucky to have some of the juiciest blueberries right in our own back yard. Azul Farms is located on Schell Road but it is most accessible from “Old Sonora Road” - just look for the U-Pick Blueberry sign and flag about 2 miles down Sonora Road. I bring my own containers or bags and the blueberries are only $3 a pound. This season I have been enjoying them so much, I think I have picked over 10 pounds of blueberries over the past few weeks. Blueberry season is short so don’t wait too long to get over there and check it out!

Knights Ferry School sixth grader, Chase Dugo competed at the Jr. High State Finals Rodeo in Red Bluff, California as one of the Top 45 breakaway ropers in the state. Chase placed third in the first round and second in the second round and moved on with the Top 15, placing second in the short round. When the dust settled, Chase Dugo won first place in the average for breakaway roping, winning a buckle and an $1800 gift certificate for a saddle!
