Updates on local restaurants: The River’s Edge is offering curb-side service with limited hours and menu! Call ahead to order at 881-3466 and ask about purchasing cocktails and growler fill-ups with the purchase of food. The 50s Roadhouse is open 11-5 each day except Mondays, offering food to-go! Call Manny and Maria at 881-9400 to place your order. Spoons is temporarily closed for now but Rick at the General Store is open with limited hours. Rick has stocked the store with basic needs such as bread and milk. Call Rick at 881-3340 to confirm his store hours. The Knights Ferry Creamery is available during limited hours with a limited menu! Text or call the Creamery at 209-268-4619 for hours, menu choices, and methods of payment. The Creamery prefers text messaging. It is important more than ever to support our local friends!

Town is quiet on an official note but there are plenty of people out enjoying our beautiful town and fresh air. It was funny to see two minivans parked a reasonable distance away with their back-ends facing each other with two small families sitting in the back of their own vans eating pizza from the River’s Edge.

Knights Ferry School is moving forward with their education plan and parents are driving up to the school during scheduled pick-up times to retrieve their children’s work for the next six weeks. They will continue to use platforms like Zoom to connect with students and teachers.
