The Church Building Fundraiser Bazaar was very fortunate to have all kinds of delicious baked goods, art, crafts, and treasures donated by people both near and far from town. The baked goods sold out and the rock art created by the Sunday School kids was the biggest seller. The Church fundraising committee would like to thank each and every one of the donors; Laura Simons, Carol Davis, Lydia Blanc (Redden), Nancy Redden, Maureen McKibban, Lizzie Capeder, Katie Feichter, Laura Law, Virginia Phillips, Ellen Wearin, Grace Rusconi, Theresa Ferrari, Charilyn Damigo, Betty Irvine, David Simmons, Amy Simons, Mary Sue Shearer, Lily Sturtevant, Lina Steenkamp, Audrey Oliver, Mary Starbuck, and all cash donors.

At the Miller’s Hall meeting, we had the opportunity to check out the guest book from the “first reunion in 129 years” on June 25th, 1983. It was very touching to see so many familiar names. Some of the signatures I recognized were those who have since passed away and there were a few sweet child-like signatures from people who are adults with their own families today! Look for that book inside the museum sometime in the future!

Knights Ferry School participated in the rodeo parade in Oakdale with a truck and trailer touting the school. There was even a bobcat mascot dancing around with the kids. Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff members who participated in the parade!

Mickie Martinelli and her husband, Luke Stauss visited town for the week. They have spent time at the hospital with our dad, who is dealing with some health issues, attended soccer games, attended softball games in the Bay area, and visited friends in the area.
