OJUSD Music Programs Perform For Packed House

The past week wrapped up two weeks of musical enjoyment for students and the families of Oakdale Joint Unified School District. Elementary band kicked off the holiday merriment, with a packed house at Magnolia Auditorium on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Students of Oakdale Junior High and Oakdale High School band delighted the listeners the following evening with a toe tapping concert also hosted at Magnolia.

Rounding out the showcase of musical talent, the Secondary Choir wowed an audience for two performances at the OHS Theater on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Elementary choir students gave it a go the following night as the third grade choir led by Choir Director Cynthia Hofmann kicked off the evening at Magnolia Elementary Auditorium with a variety of carols showcasing their vocal range. The Intermediate Choir followed later that evening under the direction of Cathy Larson.
