The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) was named a Best Places to Work: Central Valley and recognized at an award ceremony held by Opportunity Stanislaus on April 18. This prestigious award is based entirely on current employees’ comments about their experience working at SCOE.

Best Places to Work: Central Valley was started in 2017, by Opportunity Stanislaus. They wanted to ensure that all rankings be decided by an unbiased third party so that no companies could wield an advantage based on size or local popularity. Enter Best Companies Group, an internationally known survey and rankings program known for its comprehensive extended data reports.

As a winner of Best Places to Work, SCOE joins Automation Group, Community Hospice & Health Services, Grimbleby Coleman Advisors & Accountants, Haggerty Construction, Inc., ITSolutions-Currie, Oak Valley Community Bank, O’Dell Engineering, Inc., One Digital, and The Wonderful Company.

“We are honored to be named a Best Places to Work, as we consider our culture and employee satisfaction a top priority,” said Superintendent Scott Kuykendall. “Our staff make SCOE a great place to work. They are leaders in the education field and dedicated to serving students, families, and the community. It is because of them that we were able to earn this recognition.”

The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) partners with local schools and the community to support quality education for nearly 110,000 students in Stanislaus County and several thousand more in regional programs throughout the state. The office employs over 1,100 staff. Those interested in a career at SCOE should visit the SCOE Employment page at www.stancoe.org.
