Modesto Junior College Department of Dance presents “Jam ‘n Jive at the 2017 Grammy’s” on Sept. 20, 21, 22, and 23 at 7 p.m. in the Main Auditorium of the Performing and Media Arts Center on East Campus, 435 College Ave., Modesto.

The evening will feature a variety of jazz dance choreography set to music from artists such as Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Sia, Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Lukas Graham and many more of the award winners and nominees from the 2017 Grammy Awards show.

In addition to MJC’s Off-Balance Dancers, the high schools involved in this year’s Jam ‘n Jive concert are Beyer, Central Catholic, Central Valley, Ceres, Davis, Downey, Gregori and Modesto. Also performing are the private dance studios of 5678 Dance, Backstage Dance Academy, Imbue, Modesto Academy of Dance and Westside Dance Ministries.

“This is a great family night out supporting your local dance community,” said Kim T. Davis, MJC professor of dance.
