A girl, Cora Ruth Tunnell, was born at Oak Valley Hospital on June 6, 2013 to expectant parents Jonathan and Kelsey Tunnell of Oakdale.

Baby Cora weighed in at 10 pounds, seven ounces. Big brother Jet welcomed the newcomer home.

The mother is the former Kelsey Hutchings.

Maternal grandparents are Bruce and Lisa Hutchings of Oakdale.

Paternal grandparents are Jeffry and Peggy Tunnell of Big Bear City, CA.
