Oakdale resident and Oakdale MMA professional fighter Michael McDonald (15-1) made his first appearence on a UFC pay-per-view a good one on Saturday with a stunning first round knockout of former world champion and pound-for-pound legend, Miguel Torres (40-5).

The fight in the UFC's 135-pound bantamweight division aired live on the UFC 145 fight card in Atlanta and featured McDonald's first collision with a fighter unanimously ranked top-10 in the world.

McDonald finished the fight in just three minutes and 18 seconds after thunderous uppercuts left Torres out on his feet.
