Oakdale High’s standout fullback and defensive lineman, Nikk Ryan, came through with a huge performance on Oct. 26 as the Mustangs battled to a 28-7 win over Manteca. Ryan ran for 117 yards and two scores to expose a rare weakness in a stout Manteca defense.

On the other side of the ball, Ryan rallied to two sacks and played a big role in the limitation of a powerful Buffaloes offense. Oakdale’s two-way standout earns Athlete of the Week recognition from The Leader for his stellar effort.
