The Oakdale Gators Swim team kicked off the 2015 swim season on Saturday, June 6 at the Oakdale Aquatic Center. The first meet of the season hosted a large number of attendees for the Oakdale Swim Team’s recreational group. Children as young as the age of 5 were ready to compete and take to the water, swimming in 25-yard events. The meet concluded shortly after 1:30 p.m.

As is customary for home meets, Oakdale had the largest attendance of the competing teams. The Oakdale Gators has just over 200 swimmers on the 2015 team, with a range of skill levels from beginner to advanced.

The second of the four meet season will be hosted on Saturday, June 20 at Tokay High School in Lodi.
