It was a mixed bag of results for the Oakdale baseball program this past week, with some wins and some losses for all levels.

For the varsity boys, they started off with a loss on the home field to visiting Liberty of Brentwood, falling 4-0 on March 15. They rebounded with a pair of victories in their next two contests, both non-league as well, topping Turlock on the road Saturday, March 18 by a 5-3 final and hosting and defeating Ripon on March 20 by a 5-2 decision.

At the JV level, it was one win and two losses. The boys took a shutout loss to Liberty, 9-0, on March 15. They also fell on the road in Turlock, losing 6-1, before coming home to take an 8-2 victory over Ripon.

The freshmen lost at Liberty on March 15 by a close 6-5 margin. They were at Enochs for a March 16 game and soared past the Eagles by a 19-5 margin. They then lost a March 18 game by a 7-4 final to Turlock.
