William T. ‘Bill’ Johnston, 79, died Thursday, Dec. 12 at Cohen Hospice House, Hughson.

Mr. Johnston was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a resident of Oakdale for 45 years.

He was an electroplater by profession.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Johnston; children, Scott Johnston, Todd (Sandy) Johnston, Kim (Art) Dunn, Rick Bancroft; siblings, Kathy Schiebe, Janice Johnston, Bruce Johnston, Robert Johnston; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendel and Phylis Johnston; and granddaughter, Abigail Johnston.

Private service planned at a later date.
