Thomas Charles Dobbins, 72, died Sunday, July 10 at his Oakdale home with his family at his side.
He was born in Roswell, N.M. He lived in the Oakdale/Modesto area for 66 years. After graduating from Oakdale High School he served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Dobbins retired from Memorial Hospital Association after 17 years as the financial controller.
He was a member of the Oakdale Community Christian Reformed Church. He was also a member of the Oakdale Golf and Country Club for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia of Oakdale; children, Brad Dobbins of Antioch, Randy (Josephine) Dobbins of Friant; sisters, Fern Langford of Modesto, Virginia St.Clair of Marsing, Idaho; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Thelma Dobbins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15 at the Community Christian Reformed Church, 131 W. F Street, Oakdale.
