Thelma Mae Fields Pruitt went home to be with our Lord surrounded by her family at home on Friday May 29, 2015. She was 78 years old. Mimi, as she was lovingly called, was born on August 13, 1936 in Grove, Oklahoma to William and Bernice Fields. She was one of ten children. Her family moved to California when she was 15 and Oakdale has been her home for the past 60 years. She is preceded in death and now blessedly reunited with her husband Kent Pruitt, her son Ron Pruitt , her grandson Kliff Pruitt and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her children Robin Pruitt(Alda), Syndi Taylor(Kerry), and her grandchildren Jason Pruitt (Tricia), Shawna Pruitt Lyle (Chad), Ryan Pruitt, Synthia Pruitt, Tyler Pruitt, Austin Pruitt and Mackenzie Nabors (Alex). Mimi spent her life serving God, her family, and others. She partnered with, and supported her husband in the business (Pruitt’s Backhoe Service and Triple K Irrigation Service) they owned until his death in 1989 and then became a vital part of her daughters business (Sports Section Gymnastics Center) in Oakdale for over 20 years where she touched and was loved by countless children in our community.

Mimi loved the Word of God, and one of her greatest desires was that everyone would have the opportunity to know the hope in Jesus that she had.
