Teresa Mendes, 53, died Tuesday, Oct. 11.

She was born in Quincy. She was raised in Oakdale and graduated from Oakdale High School.

Ms. Mendes loved living in the country. She also loved the wilderness, camping and hiking.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Koch; brother, William Moss; son, Dustin Brummel; grandchildren, Bailey and Dominic Brummel; nieces Jennifer, Carrie and Augusta; and nephews, William and Michael.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Adams.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at The Way Christian Fellowship, 5682 Pirrone Road, Salida.
