Ron “Ronnie” Enos, 74, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, April 4 at home, surrounded by those he loved, after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Oakland, graduated from Hayward High School in 1958, attending every class reunion thereafter.

He and his wife Pam resided at “Enos Ranch” in Mariposa for the past 12 years after moving from Oakdale where he lived for 26 years.

Mr. Enos retired from Lawrence Livermore National Lab in 2001, as a Lab Assistant. He also operated Big Oak Stables for 17 years in Cull Canyon.

He was known as a very hard working man who enjoyed socializing with cowboys and ranchers, as well as attending livestock auctions.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Robert Enos, Terry (Bruce) Pearson, Susan Enos; two brothers; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Leola M. Graham.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at Henderson Park Club House, 3325 N. Merced Falls Road, Snelling.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his name to Bristol Hospice of Merced, 374 East Yosemite Avenue, Ste. 200, Merced, CA 95340.
