Robert “Bob” Sundling, 67, died Wednesday, May 4 at his residence in Angels Camp.

He was born in Turlock. He was a resident of Angels Camp for 33 years.

Mr. Sundling worked as a mechanic for PG&E for 25 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Gwen Sundling of Angels Camp; sons, David Sundling of Arizona, Billy Sundling of Tuolumne City; brother, Jerry (Betty) Sundling of Oakdale; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burnett and Dorothy Sundling; brother, Bill Sundling; sisters, Carol Nelson and Berneta Sundling.

A memorial service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday May 21 at the industrial complex on the corner of Highway 4 and Rock Creek Road, Copperopolis.
